Am No Weaker MAn

What do they  use to measure the strength or otherwise of a man...

This has been a pretty persistent question that i have not found answers to,not because i have not been thorough with my research but because i have not found anyone convinsing enough.

I have a heart that does not only pump blood as hearts are meant to  but one that has involved  itself in co-curriculum activities like love...
Men are supposed to be tough therefore such shouldnt fall so deeply in love as they say its womanish....but do you blame me....

I have this bff...(Bestfriend forever) incase this article falls into the hands of someone who have been graced by the beauty of old age, that i feel has really drifted apart, am not sure if its her or the friendship..yea i know the mention of 'her' raises your eyebrows because our luhya friends say "having a girl for a best friend is like a luhya having a chicken for a pet, he will eat it someday" but mine is different..

I have insticts, not because am not a man but  because am a better man and when i feel a gap where she use to reside i feel her absence.
I would really love to choose not to feel this way but either way whats the beauty of happiness when there is no pain..

If today i would write her a letter it would be possibly 10words only.

Dear anita
I wish today was when you walked into my life

And sign it ed

Coz thats what she calls me.

I wish we would talk more,i wish we could make those silly jokes about everything and everyone,i wish, i wish i wish....possibly if i ever wanted to say all my wishes for her,the world would make a complete turn and find me still here but whats pretty important is a man also feels.

Just because you dont shade  a tear doesnt mean you are strong. Strength is not measured by the weight you can lift but the burdens you can take away, its how many hearts you can touch that really counts, its not how many people you can kill but how many of their breath you can take away...

Its just not about strength and weakness its about love and life.
Its about you being a person more than you are a man.its about you listen to your heart more than you listen to your words.its about you looking more into the mirror...

Its all about the man in the mirror.
